• Description: Rockshots is the longest established gay-friendly club in Newcastle (situated right in the heart of the so-called pink triangle), but is equally popular with a straight clientele. Probably the biggest gay night of the week is a Wednesday when (believe it or not) the modest entry fee of £8.00 also covers the cost of all drinks. Weekends see a mixture of garage and house on a Saturday, with easy-listening music in the back room. Once a month there is a Goth night when the vampires are abroad. The Rockshots crowd is almost always friendly and good natured, and - gay or straight - a good night is guaranteed. Source: igougo
