Description: Friends and Family was created to showcase the hugely talented DJs and artists from the stables of Fat City and Grand Central Records - Manchester's biggest independent dance music labels. Where as its precursor Counter Culture was designed as a larger scale celebration of UK and US hip-hop, this is a much smaller, friendlier proposition. Based at the Roadhouse, the atmosphere is always relaxed and you can usually enjoy some very special guests from mainland Europe and beyond, along with regulars such as Martin Brew, Darren Laws and Mark Rae on the decks.
