• Description: This friendly and hip venue on three floors houses a renowned Brighton cafe which puts on a wide variety of events almost every night, from live music to poetry, for a small entrance fee (£2-£3). They also provide board games to play whilst drinking your coffee. Originally a completely vegetarian cafe, the menu has recently expanded to offer Burmese, European and African cuisine. Lunches range from home made soups, salads and baguettes. Evening meals include specials like Friday fish suppers - the Calimari in red wine and tomato sauce served with a mushroom risotto is divine.
