• Description: Bath's official gay venue, the Bath Tap seems to have been part of the scene for ages. Clean, bright and cheerful inside, with the sort of music you'd expect, there's also a function room upstairs for the occasional fetish night and cabaret. Bar meals are served at lunchtime and as it has a late licence on Friday and Saturday (£2.50 charge for entrance after 10pm on Sat) it's particularly useful. Straight folk are welcome too, so boogie on down to the Housemartins and Abba. Watch out for Karaoke Night on Mondays and the excellent Drag Quiz Night on Wednesdays from 9pm. Source: igougo
