Boltens Gård
- Address: Boltens Gård
- Description: The Boltens GÃ¥rd nightclub complex is a three-stage midnight rocket to dancing heaven. Your trip departs from the ground floor in the house club Slide. Slowly you proceed upstairs to hip-hop club Fever, and if your CV says VIP, your looks say tops and the doorman says 'yes', you enter NASA, the floating space bar above the skies of Copenhagen. The favourite DJ at Club Slide is Copenhagen's blockbusting Kjeld Tolstrup. He usually plays stacks of happy house and back-catalogue disco, but you can be sure that a few break-beat tunes, Latin moves and hip-hop grooves will find their way into his night. The young dancing queens and kings of Copenhagen love it. Orange décor in 70s ABBA style complements a bar shaped like a gigantic Absolut Vodka bottle, and there are curious arty photos on the walls. Admission to Slide is DKK60, and from there you get free access to club Fever, where you head if your friends say 'hip-hop, don't stop'. Here, upgraded SK8 slang is combined with chocolate-brown skin and the result is a smooth hip-hop flow with a touch of European flavour. The décor is red'n'hot. NASA is Copenhagen's most 'members only', 'restricted area', VIP, most-wanted, and also most pretentious nightclub. Deluxe-delovely-delightful-delirious. This club was designed by media types for media types and if you haven't had your 15 minutes of fame yet, then find another destination. Young Gucci girls and sleek Prada guys sip metropolitan drinks in the bar and talk about the other Gucci girls and Prada guys. The space-age interior is stunning and almost worth the entire admission fee. Actually NASA is less untouchable than they would like it to be, but do call beforehand if you want to be on the guest list. Source: igougo
